True Story

I guess I should start with my parents and how they were never really around or interested. Certainly not in teaching me about the "birds and the bees." So at 14, with no internet, I began to study at the library. I didn't want to ask friends, go on half truths, or listen to rumors. I started putting the dewey decimal system to work and spent hours reading what I hoped were credible sources. At 15 I had my first experience and by 16 I knew that separating fact from fiction was my calling.

I got an athletic scholarship that allowed me to be able to go to a small college nearby. From day one my major was set in stone: Psychology with an emphasis on Human Sexuality. Fast forward to my sophomore year, when during soccer practice, my knee blew out.

For about a month the school set me up with some great doctors and physical therapy people. But once the doctor said that I couldn't play, the school canceled my scholarships and said, "Best of luck."

So now I'm a server (aka waitress) at a restaurant, trying to save up money to make it back into school. I miss my passion and decided to make blogs to keep myself sharp.
